DECORFLEX Durable Elastomeric Exterior Wallpaint DF – 97 is an elastomeric wallpaint that protect exterior wall for six years from weather influences, UV from sun light and fungus and agloe attack.

DECORFLEX Durable Elastomeric Exterior Wallpaint DF – 97 made from elastomeric acrilyc polymer that is flexible and elastic, therefore can over hair line crack and prevent penetration of rain water into the wall, also alkaline resistance, low dirt pick up and washable; combined with special color pigment that is bright color and good color retention. This product is designed for exterior wall and ceilling surface including brick work/cement plaster, concrete, GRC panel, etc..

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

PAINTING OF WALL
Surface Preparation for New / Unpainted Wall

• Surfaces must be dry, clean and free from all contaminants. Newly build wall must be dry after 28 days old.
• Area of defect, like crack or extistence of puncture, repain using materials mixture of PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water.
• Make sure moisture content/dampness of wall ≤ 16 % measured using Protimeter appliance and wall alkalinity (pH) 7 – 8 measured using Universal pH indicator.

Surface Preparation for Old / Painted Wall

• Check the surface, old paint that have adhesion problem must be removed from the surface.
• Area of defect, like crack or extistence of puncture, repain using materials mixture of PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water.
• Old wall surfaces that affected by mold and fungus must be treat by PROPAN FUNGICIDAL WASH.
• Before painting work begin, make sure the surfaces are dry, clean, and free from all contaminants.

PAINTING
Primer Coat

DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AS – 310 (Solvent Based) 1 coat (1 x 40 micron, without thinning)

Repair

After primer coat has dried, check all surface paint whether there are defects like crack or existence of puncture. If there is part of wall defect, repair using materials mixture of PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water. Afterwards apply primer coat once again at parts of repaired, then let it run dry minimal 2 hours.

Finish Coat

DECORFLEX Durable Elastomeric Exterior Wallpaint DF – 97, 2 coats (2 x 70 micron, thinning with 10 – 20% clean water according to application need).

Theoritical Coverage : 6 m2 / liter (70 microns dry film thickness)

Recoating Interval : Minimum 2 hours (at temperature of 30º C)
