Decorshield Pro
DECORSHIELD PRO DW – 503 is an exterior wall paint to protect exterior walls for 6 years from the effects of weather changes, UV rays from the sun and from the growth of mold and mildew. DECORSHIELD PRO DW – 503 is made from 100% acrylic emulsion, combined with selected color pigments, so it has the following advantages: not easily soiled, resistant to alkalis, brighter colors and does not fade easily. This product is formulated for use on exterior walls and ceilings, such as masonry walls, cement plaster, concrete, GRC panels and others.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
NEW PAINTING
1. Surface Preparation
- All wall surfaces with defects such as hairline cracks or small holes, repaired using PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 mixed with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water, then let it dry for at least 5 (five) days.
- Make sure the water content / humidity of the wall +- 16% is measured using the Protimeter tool and the wall alkali content (pH) 7 – 8 is measured using the Universal tool pH indicator.
- The wall surface must be cleaned of dirt, dust, grease, oil, remaining cement water and others.
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) layer of base coat DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AR – 300 (Water Based) without dilution or use DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AS – 310 (Solvent Based) without dilution using a roll for wall surfaces with very high alkaline levels. Let this layer of base paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
3. Touch Up
- Check the entire surface of the wall that has been primed again, if you find that there are still defects such as hairline cracks or small holes, do local repairs using PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 mixed with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water, then let it dry for at least 5 (five) days
- Re-apply the base paint, specifically on the repaired parts, then let it dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
4. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of finish paint DECORSHIELD DW – 503, which is diluted with clean water 10 – 20% by volume, using a roll. Then let this first coat of finish paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
REPAINTING (OLD PAINT HAS BEEN BROKEN & PEELED)
1. Surface Preparation
Check the condition of the old paint that is still attached to the wall, if the old paint is damaged or calcified or peeling, then do the following steps- Peel off all the old paint using PROPAN Paint Remover PPR – 735 (blue can) until it reaches the wall plaster, then clean it and let it dry.
- All damaged wall surfaces are repaired using PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 mixed with with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water, then let it dry completely for at least 5 (five) days.
- Make sure the moisture content / humidity of the wall? 16% is measured using a Protimeter tool and the wall alkali content (pH) 7 – 8 is measured using a Universal pH indicator tool.
- The wall surface must be cleaned of dirt, dust, grease, oil, remaining cement water and others .

REPAINTING (OLD PAINT STILL IN GOOD CONDITION & NOT PEELED)
1. Surface Preparation
If the condition of the old paint is still good, nothing is peeling off, then do the following steps:- Clean the entire surface of the old paint from dust and dirt that sticks to it by washing it using a brush & clean water or a damp cloth, then let it dry, or sand it using sandpaper size 180, then clean it from dust.
- Make sure the moisture content / humidity of the wall? 16% was measured using a Protimeter and the wall alkali content (pH) 7 – 8 was measuredusing a universal pH indicator tool.
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AS – 310 SB or DECOR Wall Sealer DWS – 380 SB without dilution using a roll. Allow this base coat to dry for a minimum of 2 (two) hours and a maximum of 4 (four) hours
3. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of finish paint DECORSHIELD Acrylic Exterior Shield DW – 503, which is diluted with clean water 10 – 20% by volume, using a roll. Then let this first coat of finish paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
