ECO GYPSUM Acrylic Emulsion Paint for Gypsum Board EE – 4050 is an interior paint made from acrylic emulsion with selected color pigments, specially formulated for gypsum ceilings and partitions. ECO GYPSUM Acrylic Emulsion Paint for Gypsum Board EE – 4050 has good adhesion to the surface of gypsum and gypsum compound and prevents bubbles when painting on top of gypsum compound. This product is easy to apply, dries quickly, has good covering power, minimizes the appearance of uneven gypsum ceiling and partition surfaces (glancing light), and has a bright color.

NEW PAINTING
1. Surface Preparation
- Clean the surface of the gypsum partition from various kinds of contaminants such as: dust, dirt, oil, especially dust left over from sanding of gypsum compound or remnants of old paint particles.

- All gypsum surfaces to be painted are inspected, if defects are found such as small holes, do local repairs using ECO EMULSION PLAMUR Ready to Use Wall Putty ECP – 4030, using a cotton swab application tool
- Let it dry ± 2 – 24 hours, depending on thickness.
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of ECO GYPSUM Special Acrylic Emulsion Primer For Gypsum Board EPG – 4049 without dilution using a roll. Let this layer of base paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
3. Touch Up
- Check the entire gypsum surface that has been primed again, if defects such as small holes are found, do local repairs using ECO EMULSION PLAMUR Ready to Use Wall Putty ECP – 4030 using a cloth application tool, then let it dry ± 2 – 24 hours, depending on thickness. (two) hours.
4. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) layer of finish paint ECO GYPSUM Acrylic Emulsion Paint For Gypsum Board EE – 4050, which is diluted with 10 – 20% of clean water , using rolls. Then let the first finish coat of paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours. /p>
REPAINTING (OLD PAINT HAS BEEN BROKEN & PEELED)
1. Surface Preparation
Check the condition of the old paint still attached to the gypsum ceiling, if the old paint is damaged or calcified or peeling, then do the following steps:- If necessary, peel off all the old paint using PROPAN Paint Remover PPR – 735 (blue can) until it reaches a hard surface, then clean it and let it dry.
- All damaged wall surfaces are repaired using ECO materials EMULSION PLAMUR Ready to Use Wall Putty ECP – 4030 using a cloth application tool, then let it dry ± 2 – 24 hours, depending on thickness.
- The surface of the gypsum partition must be cleaned of dirt, dust, grease, oil, etc. .
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) layer of base coat DECOR Wall Sealer DWS – 380 ( Solvent based ) without dilution using a roll. Allow this base coat to dry for a minimum of 2 (two) hours and a maximum of 4 (four) hours.
3. Touch up
- Check the entire gypsum surface that has been primed again, if defects such as small holes are found, do local repairs using ECO EMULSION PLAMUR Ready to Use Wall Putty ECP – 4030 using a cloth application tool, then let it dry ± 2 – 24 hours, depending on thickness. (two) hours and a maximum of 4 (four) hours.
4. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) layer of finish paint ECO GYPSUM Acrylic Emulsion Paint For Gypsum Board EE – 4050, which is diluted with 10 – 20?rat of clean water , using rolls. Then let the first finish coat of paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours. /p>
REPAINTING (OLD PAINT STILL IN GOOD CONDITION & NOT PEELED)
1. Surface Preparation
If the condition of the old paint is still good, nothing is peeling off, then do the following steps:- Clean the entire surface of the old paint from dust and dirt that sticks to it by washing it using a brush & clean water or a damp cloth, then let it dry, or sand it using sandpaper size 180, then clean it from dust.
- Make sure the moisture content / humidity of the wall under 16% was measured using a Protimeter tool and the wall alkali content (pH) 7 – 8 was measured using a Universal pH indicator tool
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) layer of DECOR Wall Sealer DWS – 380 (solvent based) base coat without dilution using a roll. Allow this base coat to dry for a minimum of 2 (two) hours and a maximum of 4 (four) hours
3. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) layer of finish paint ECO GYPSUM Acrylic Emulsion Paint For Gypsum Board EE – 4050, diluted with a fresh water 10 – 20% , using a roll. Then let this first coat of finish paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
