Durasafe DS-880
DURASAFE DS-880 is a wall paint made from high quality 2 component water-based polyurethane, formulated for painting hospital walls, especially operating rooms, medical laboratories, ICU, radiology, and Physiotheraphy. Contains anti-microbial ingredients that are proven effective in preventing the growth of fungi and bacteria. In addition, it also has anti-stain properties and is easy to clean so that the room is always hygienic.

NEW PAINTING
1. Surface Preparation
- All wall surface defects such as hair cracks or small holes, repaired using PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 mixed with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water, then let dry at least 5 (five) days.
- Make sure the moisture content of the wall is ? 16% measured using Protimeter tool and wall alkali level (pH) 7 – 8 measured using Universal pH indicator tool.
- The wall surface must be cleaned of dirt, dust, grease, oil, residual cement water, etc.
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AR – 300 (Water Based) without dilution or use DECOR Alkali Resisting Primer AS – 310 (Solvent Based) without dilution using a roll for wall surfaces with very high alkali content. Allow this primer coat to dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
3. Touch Up
- Recheck the entire surface of holes, make local repairs using DECOR Wall Filler DWF – 200 using a kape application tool, then let it dry ± 2 – 24 hours, depending on the thickness.
- Reapply primer, especially on the repaired parts, then let it dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
4. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of DECORSAFE Odorless finish paint & antibacterial Paint DS – 490, which is diluted with clean water 10 – 20% by volume, using a roll. Then let this first coat of finish paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
- Do it again until the third layer (if the color of the second layer has not closed completely).
REPAINTING (OLD PAINT WAS DAMAGED & PEELED OFF )
1. Ped
Check the condition of the old paint that is still attached to the wall, if the old paint is damaged or chalking or peeling, then take the following steps
- Peel off all the old paint using PROPAN Paint Remover PPR – 735 (blue can) until it reaches the wall, then clean and let it dry.
- The entire defective wall surface is repaired using PROCRETE Cement Filler CF – 700 mixed with PROCRETE Bonding Agent BDA – 810 and water, then let it dry completely for at least 5 (five) days.
- Make sure the moisture content of the wall is below 16% measured using the Protimeter tool and the wall alkali level (pH) 7 – 8 measured using the Universal pH indicator tool.
- The surface of the wall must be cleaned of dirt, dust, grease, oil, residual cement water and others.

- Apply 1 (one) coat of DECORSAFE Odorless & Antibacterial Paint DS – 490, diluted with clean water 10 – 20% by volume, using a roll. Then let this first coat of paint finish dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
- Do it again until the third layer (if the color of the second layer has not closed completely)..
REPAINTING (OLD PAINT IS STILL IN GOOD CONDITION) & NOT PEELED OFF )
1. Surface Preparation
If the condition of the old paint is still good, there is no peeling, then do the following steps :
- Clean the entire surface of the old paint from dust and dirt by washing with a brush & clean water or wet cloth, then let it dry, or sanded using 180 size sandpaper, then clean it from dust.
- Make sure the moisture content of the wall is below 16% measured using the Protimeter tool and the wall alkali level (pH) 7 – 8 measured using the Universal pH indicator tool.
2. Base Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of DECOR Wall Sealer DWS – 380 (solvent based) or DECOR Wall Sealer DWS – 320 (water based) without dilution using a roll. Allow this base coat to dry for a minimum of 2 (two) hours and a maximum of 4 (four) hours./li>
3. Final Coat
- Apply 1 (one) coat of DECORSAFE Odorless finish paint & antibacterial Paint DS – 490, which is diluted with clean water 10 – 20% by volume, using a roll. Then let this first coat of finish paint dry for at least 2 (two) hours.
- Do it again until the third layer (if the color of the second layer has not closed completely).
